We chose the name of our business because we wanted to re-create the magic of the bookmobile—that sense of anticipation—just before you find that perfect book—the one you have been waiting for—the magic treasure that you know is just over there, on the next shelf. We have mostly used books with a sprinkling of new titles. We also carry unique cards and gifts. The Bookmobile is located at 58 Merchants Row, in the heart of downtown Rutland Vermont. We are one of the Shops at Gryphon Square and our customers have access to free parking in a street level lot at the corner of West and Cottage streets between the Peoples United Bank and the Unitarian Church. If you are a local, look for us next to The Sandwich Shoppe. We will be open for business in October 2012 - Monday to Friday 10 to 6 - Saturday 9 to 3. Open on Sundays from Thanksgiving to Christmas.
